When I joined GoPro, Studio was just a video processor used to do things like color correction, cropping and rotation of video. I was responsible for transforming this product into a full-fledged non-linear editor for the masses, i.e. it had to provide a user experience that anyone could use. This was key as the typical GoPro user was not a videographer, nor did he want to become one.

Under my leadership we released a new version with this capability and it was a resounding success, getting well in excess of 6,000,000 downloads for Macintosh and Windows computers. GoPro studio is used to create over 45,000 videos a day.
