Aladdin was the first Activity Center product released under the Disney Interactive label. This product broke new ground in the multimedia space by incorporated large-size good quality video and audio, as well as created a brand-new product category (that of activity centers).

I was responsible for researching media processing techniques and establishing a media ingest, processing and compression pipeline that allowed for the video to retain good quality, and yet play without stutter on the low-end computers of that time (and off a CD ROM). I was also responsible for processing all the graphics and the video content, as well as for localizing it to 13 languages.

The Aladdin Activity Center sold over a million copies and was covered by the press worldwide.
